THERE HAS BEEN lots of hype surrounding the high budget film based on this classic. Much to the disappointment to many readers the movie was a bust, but this doesn’t mean the book isn’t worthy of reading. This book was first published in 1962 and still remains one of our all time favorites. It is a shame that Hollywood can’t get it right but the story will be forever in your hearts after you read it.
